HOME SWEET CARDIFFLook at my clothes!Sally Williams walked down the street happily, her hair flowing behind her and a smile on her face. Her bag was clutched in her right hand and and her other in her jeans pocket. She had been informed by the driver of her cab that this was one of the rare warm days of Cardiff. She smirked at the thought, even though Montana wasn't usually warm when it was heat blasted through it, ths was more lukewarm rather then hot. She turned the corner at a row of terraced houses and smiled at the thought of surprising Zane. She loved to surprise people and she knew Zane loved surprises aswell, which was good because dishing them out was all too fun to miss out on. The blonde opened the gate, walking up the path to Zane's front door. She knocked on it, ignoring the doorbell as she never had realy lked them after seeiing Kevin McAllister from Home Alone 1 stick a pin in one, she always thought someone might try to do it to her. Mostly because Zane had said he would when she was young. She waited on the doorstep for him to open the door silently a smile planted on her lips Tag: Zaaney x Comments?: Aww reuinion xD

Zane hadn't been expecting anyone, but he wasn't about to answer the door with a shotgun like old man Wilson who lived next door to his parents.
"Be right there," he called ahead as he wiped wood stain off his hands on the white cloth in his back pocket.
When he opened the door to his stylish younger sister he nearly scooped her up into a hug before realizing he was in jeans and an old flannel shirt, and the lot of it was dusted in sawdust and splattered with stain.
"Oops, can't hug you," he said even as the smile stretched his face. "I wasn't supposed to pick you up at the airport, was I?"

Sally grinned and pushed him in with both hands, grinning.
"Well go change your shirt then, you look like you've been rolling in a stable." She scolded playfully even though she was still grinning. She was just hapy to b here with him, after he had left Montana when the entire lake things was over she had realised how uh sh had missed him.
"No, surprise." She smirked, and took an envelope out of her bag, it was thick and white, her name handwritten on the front of it.
"I wanna show you this, were's your kitchen? I want a latte, and before you winge I picked some up from home." She knew it was unlikely that he had any himself. She turned and walked into the nice kitchen, her eyes spotting the kettle and walking over to fill it up.

Zane jogged up the stairs to his bedroom, cringing a little bit at how many pairs of boxers he and Jack could strew about in a few free hours. He stripped off the woodworking shirt and tossed it over the pair that had somehow landed on top of the dresser, tugged on a clean black t-shirt and made sure to latch the bedroom door on his way out.
Whether he was more concerned Sally would think him a slob or a sex addict, even Zane wasn't clear upon. He wondered where she was planning to stay as he jogged back down the stairs to meet her in the kitchen.
"You found the kettle? Cool."

"Oh yeah I'm clever like that." Sally grinned, taking two mugs and turnng to see Zane, still smiling she wrappd her arms around his neck, resting her head on his shoulder and sighing, she had missed being with Zane, she used to see him everyday before and after school and sometimes during the school day for one reason or the other.
"So anyway, I have the awesomess news ever!" She squealed excited and passed him the envelope, waiting for him to open it with watchfull eyes, putting the coffee grounds into Zane's cup and emptying a sachet into her own cup, still watching him out of the corner of her eye.
She knew what it said off by heart, basically she had a scholarship to one of the best performing arts universities from all around the world. To make it even better it was about twenty minuted from where Zane lived.

Zane gave her a uncertain smile as he opened the envelope. She had a nervous excitement about her that told him whatever he was about to learn was completely positive.
"You're transferring to Cardiff?" He asked with a widening smile. "Of course you're transferring to Cardiff. That's great news, Sal. I'm proud of you."
And he really was. He was glad that she was her own person, knew exactly what she wanted and went for it.

"I know!" Sally grinned and tipped the water into the mugs turning around and passing it to him, taking her letter back.
"Your happy yeah?" She really hoped that he would be, Zac had told her that he might be annoyed that she was invading his personal space but she didn't think he would, he was usually so excited to see her.
Looking past him into the hallway she leaned against the kitchen counter.
"Is he here? Jack?" She asked, it showed that she liked him by the fact that she had botehred to remember his name, whenever Sally didn't like one of Zane's partners he knew straight away by her ignoring them and refurring at them as 'them'.
If it weren't for Jack then Zane might have been in serious trouble that night at the lake and she couldn't have that, she'd hate anything to happen to him. She was completely distraught when that grizzly had attacked him.

Zane stood behind Sally's chair and ruffled her hair. He heard the things she wasn't saying. That she'd missed him, that she wanted to be something like grown up friends. He managed to not choke on his tea when she called Jack by name. That had to be a first.
"I'm thrilled. Do you have a place to stay?" If she didn't he'd set her up in the guest room. He was pretty sure Jack would understand Zane not talking it over with him first. Even if she had a place to stay, there were things he was going to have to tell her.
"Jack's still at work. I'm not sure what time he'll finish tonight. Do you want me to call, see if he can meet us for dinner?"

"Oh well I could just get a B&B or you know, buy a campavan and rock out Uncle Jeff style."
Sally smirked, Jeff their unofficial uncle liked campavans a lot, infact anything which had wheels that spun around and looked like it should be on a junkyard. He was your man.
"Sure. It's cool with me."
She sprung herself up lightly so that she sat up on the kitchen counter and smiled, looking around his kitchen, taking in her surroundings beore settling her eyes back on Zane.
"Your going to cook? Did you get the thanksgiving present?"
She grinned, even though people had told her that her brother could cook well she wasn't going to believe them, It wasn't worth her staking her life on it anyway.

Zane chuckled. "I did get the Thanksgiving presents and still managed to turn dinner into a blackened mess. I was thinking we could meet Jack at a restaurant. Our first dinner together in Cardiff should be something nicer than spaghetti and sauce from a jar."
"Do you know anyone else in Cardiff?"

"I like spagetti and sauce in a jar." Sally pouted playfully, she wasn't going to turn down going out for dinner, she loved going out for food. When she was younger she used to dress up for hours to look like a 'princess', although she would prefer it if Zane kept that to himself.
"You, Mr Casual have to at least wear a nice shirt though." She grinned, and began thinking about anyone she knew in Cardiff.
"Well... You, Jack and a few friends from uni. They came over before, pretty cool actually. Specificly Jordan." She raised her eyebrow suggestively and smirked, teasing Zane about her boyfriends or prospective boyfriends would never get old.

"Jordan, right. And I thought you wanted to spend time with your brother," he gave her hair a playful tousle, ready for a punch to the face if she chose to throw it. Sally didn't like to be diminished even with endearments.
"Just let me give Jack a call, then."

"Hey." Sally frowned and quickly reached to slap the back of his head playfully, it wasn't hard because she was in far too much of a good mood to actually hit him. Plus if she had then he would know about it.
"Go on then, call Captain Swishy Coat. And I though you wanted to spend time with your sister."
She mimicked his lower tones with a playfully smirk on her face. As it goes Captain Swishy Coat was her favourite nickname for Jack so far and as nicknames go it wasn't bad. Zane's partners had been given much worse one's before. All of them true in her eyes of course but that was a different matter.

"Swishy coat?" Zane asked with a snort. Jack would probably love that nickname. He pulled out his mobile and rang Jack's mobile.
"Hey Jack, guess who's transferred to Cardiff Uni..."

Jack answered his phone with a flourish as he waved Ianto out of his office.
"... the entire Montana State American football team, or was that a dream I had last night...." he pondered with a smile, relaxing with the sound of his husband's voice in his ear.
